The current school uniform will be replaced at the end of this term. All students in years 7 to 11 will be expected to wear the new uniform from the beginning of the new term in September.

Further details will be available here shortly. In the meantime the photographs below show some of our students modelling the new uniform.

The sole supplier of the new uniform is Frank Harrison.

The school believes all pupils should wear uniform for a variety of reasons: it prevents individuals feeling disadvantaged or superior by virtue of their clothes and it helps develop a sense of belonging to a community. If it is worn correctly it is also extremely smart, which in turn helps inculcate high standards of personal cleanliness and good grooming. When playing sports a pupil in the correct kit not only looks good but shows a great determination to play well. The local reputation of a school, rightly or wrongly, sometimes depends on external appearances of the pupils as they go to and from school. Sixth form have a separate dress code.
